OPSC PGT Recruitment 2024: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) invites applications for the recruitment of 1375 Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) to fill positions in 50 Government Higher Secondary Schools and 106 Upgraded Higher Secondary Schools across the state. Interested candidates can apply starting from January 31, 2024, with the online submission deadline set for March 18, 2024.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in relevant subject (50% minimum).
• Two-year Post Graduate Master’s Course (50% minimum) or Integrated Six-year Course (50% minimum) from NCERT-recognized institution.
• B.Ed. or Equivalent (mandatory, except for specific subjects).
• Diploma/Degree in Computer Application (desirable).

Age Criteria:

• Fresh Candidates: 21 to 38 years.
• In-service Candidates: Up to 45 years (as of 01.01.2023).
• Age Relaxation: As per government norms.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination (MCQ pattern)
2. Personality Test and Interview (Viva Voce test)
3. Negative marking for wrong answers
4. Minimum qualifying marks: 33% (aggregate of Paper-I, Paper-II, Paper-III)
