OSSSC Recruitment 2024: 1657 Vacancies for Pharmacists and MHWs (Male)

Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced a recruitment notification (Advt. No. IIE-39/2023-906(C)/OSSSC) for 1657 vacancies, including 206 for Pharmacists and 1451 for Multipurpose Health Workers (Male) posts under the Department of Health and Family Welfare in Odisha. Applications will be accepted online from 22 December 2023 to 20 March 2024 on the official website OSSSC.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

  • Pharmacists: +2 Science with Diploma in Pharmacy/B. Pharmacy, registered with Odisha Pharmacy Council
  • Multipurpose Health Workers (Male): +2 Science with Diploma in Pharmacy, registered with Odisha Pharmacy Council

Age Limit: 21-38 years as on 1st January 2023. Age relaxations Applicable.

  • Negative Marking: 0.25 mark deduction per question for incorrect/multiple answers.
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • General: 35%
    • ST, SC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, Sportsperson: 30%
  • Mode of Test: OMR or Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) (exact mode to be notified later).

Merit List: A Provisional Merit List will be crafted based on the total marks from the Written Test and additional marks granted to Short-Term COVID-19 healthcare workers, if applicable.

Document Verification: Candidates successfully clearing the Written Test will undergo screening for Document Verification at 125% of the advertised vacancies.
